Environmental sustainability

Attention for the environment is part of our commitment to always ensure the sustainable quality of our products. Our goal? Reducing, by 2030, emissions from our operations and to reduce emissions overall by at least 20 percent for every ton of finished product.

Our production equipment and new packaging will assist to the achievement of our goal: they generate 34% less emissions; what about the recycling process, we manage to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 52%.

Our efforts about sustainability are measured in practical actions: we are working to make 100% of our packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2028. What’s next? New recyclable and shrink-wrapped paper packaging will not just continue to ensure the same quality, safety and freshness of our products, but will also reduce the use of plastic by more than 125 tons per year, of over 24 million plastic shopping bags.
